Do you really love someone? If you say so, are there conditions on your love? You may say there are no conditions, but when things get rough, do you still love them no matter how they treat you?
Lately I have been struggling with the feeling you get when someone you love treats you like they don't care and love you back. For me, this is one of the most horrible feelings I have ever experienced. When I love someone, I love hard. It dosen't matter if its my family, friends, or boys, I put my all in it. So it has been hard to accept the fact that not everyone is gonna show that same love back. I was thinking about the fact that if I really love that person, that I have to love them unconditionally. When you love someone unconditionally, that means you love them no matter what. That means you even love them if they don't love you, or stop loving you. This can be a very hard thing, because we as humans are sensitive and its hard when you care so much. Just remember that this is true love. So just love though everything you go through...because that's what true love is all about. When you love, its easy to see, so don't think your doing it in vain. The truth always comes out and that person you love will see and know the truth.
Love each other deeply because love covers over a multiple of sins.-1 Peter 4:8
But have not love, I gain nothing.Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Lover never fails.-1 Cor. 13:3-8
